Home / Working Here / Engineering The Engineering TeamGrangemouth is the largest manufacturing site in Scotland. As such we have a huge amount and variety of equipment and plant, ranging from old established plants to up-to-the minute state-of-the-art technology. This offers the discerning engineer a wide range of challenges, from maintaining and optimising some of the older assets, to designing, installing, commissioning and running breakthrough world scale technologies. The engineering team comprises team leaders, discipline engineers, supervisors, planners and discipline technicians, who can be involved in a diverse range of functions. This includes projects, process optimisation, design, integrity and assurance, planned and reactive maintenance. It is important to us to have a highly competent and proficient workforce at all levels and to develop deep technical excellence across the site. Our experienced engineers are typically chartered and become specialists in their field, be it chemical, mechanical, instrument/electrical, control, machinery and inspection engineers. Biographies |
