Rachel Travers, Chemical Engineer

I have had a variety of roles at INEOS which have used and expanded my abilities. From validating and improving Energy and CO2 calculations to carrying out safety reviews of the tank farms and Jetties to providing process support for the Vacuum Unit. These opportunities have enabled me to have a greater understanding of our Safety Practices and Legislative responsibilities and be involved in optimising a Process unit both commercially and technically. Each step of the way I was supported by a fantastic team of people and built many working relationships within our group and external agencies.

I am currently responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of INEOS Investment Projects totalling over £6M and am looking to expand that. For me, seeing my efforts translated into something which will be used to sustain the business for years to come is exceptionally rewarding and motivating.
