Richard Frost - Development Engineer

My name is Richard Frost and I am a Development Engineer at INEOS Grangemouth. I joined the site 5 years ago, having completed the 4 year graduate engineering scheme in Shell. My current role involves me leading multi-discipline project teams, for projects which range in size from £50,000 to £6million. I  also develop the asset’s annual capital budget and manage the spend plan. In my previous role I worked in an asset providing operational support for the shift teams, troubleshooting plant problems and developing  operating instructions and plant modifications. During this time I was also a member of the site Incident Management Team, and worked with upstream customers and external stakeholders such as the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA).

The extensive network of Engineers at INEOS Grangemouth, has been very helpful and supportive during my successful application for Chartered Engineer status. In my view there are fantastic opportunities at INEOS Grangemouth to work in roles as varied as petrochemicals and refining operations, engineering, project management and other business support functions.
