ARE YOU IN?
INEOS is a global manufacturer of petrochemicals. It comprises 34 businesses; each with a major chemical company heritage. INEOS’s production network spans the world, with 183 sites in 26 countries, generating an annual turnover of around $60 billion.
We are often referred to as the biggest company that you have never heard of. This is because we are not publicly quoted and we sell our products business to business, rather than directly to consumers. Our businesses produce the raw materials that are essential to manufacture a wide variety of goods; from paints to plastics, textiles to technology, medicines to mobile phones. Chemicals manufactured by INEOS enhance almost every aspect of modern life.
Sustainability is fundamental to how we do business, using innovative ideas and processes to increase capacity, while reducing the energy we use.
INEOS continues to grow year on year, an example is our investment of €2.7 billion to build a world scale ethane cracker and a PDH (Propane Dehydrogenation) unit in Antwerp. We also continue to diversify. We are one of the top ten players in the North Sea, entering the automotive industry with INEOS Grenadier, the fashion industry with Belstaff and the sports world with the purchase of FC Lausanne & OGC Nice FC.
We are a unique, non-hierarchical organisation giving undergraduates direct access to senior management. If you thrive on a challenge and are prepared to push yourself, then INEOS’ open and direct approach to business will give you the opportunity to develop quickly, in a real job with real responsibilities from day one.
We need an ambitious, delivery focussed undergraduate, to join our Group HR team. You will work with an HR graduate and the HR Director to help deliver a number of projects focussed mainly on European graduate recruitment and development. You will be involved in organising and participating in career fairs in the UK and will also liaise with our European sites to ensure a consistent branding message to candidates and consistent selection techniques. You will help organise assessment events to ensure that high quality graduates are recruited for the European businesses. We run a number of development events for INEOS graduates that you will help organise and deliver both in the UK and Europe. The role will also incorporate some data management and analysis. You will also get involved in non-graduate projects such as the organisation of Leadership training days.
This opportunity will expose you to a unique and fast-growing global company, in an HR function that is fast paced, entrepreneurial and delivery focussed. You will get immediate exposure to senior HR professionals and senior managers across the businesses. If you are looking for an HR role in the future, this would be a fascinating insight into this sector.
