Asset scheduler (multi-disciplined)




FPS is a 100% INEOS-owned integrated oil and gas liquid transportation and processing system with a nominal capacity in excess of one million barrels per day serving the central area of the North Sea.

Oil and gas liquids from over 50 offshore fields and St Fergus flow through pipelines into FPS. FPS transports crude oil and gas liquids from offshore and onshore entry points, processes the liquids at Kinneil and redelivers to the customer Forties Blend crude oil at Hound Point and either Raw Gas or fractionated Gas Products at Grangemouth.

Job Purpose

Responsible for the planning and scheduling of repair, maintenance, inspection, fabric maintenance and area engineering related activities to be delivered at FPS onshore and offshore assets. The post-holder will report to the asset Onshore/Onshore Installation Manager and work with relevant discipline SPA to ensure safe and efficient delivery of activities.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Work with SPA’s to ensure detailed job planning for all maintenance, inspection, fabric maintenance and area engineering related activities.

  • Deliver fully optimised schedules for these disciplines for the asset.

  • Have the ability to lead planning improvements within the asset

  • Carry out detailed job planning within Maximo MMS

  • Work closely with Operations and Logistics Teams to ensure preparation of high quality planning schedules for the Onshore and Offshore asset.

  • Resource tracking and levelling of the maintenance, inspection, fabric maintenance and area engineering schedules.

  • Identification and securing availability of vendors and materials.

  • Work with relevant SPA to ensure job readiness.

  • Manage/Ownership of the Planned Maintenance and Job Plan data set.

  • Manage/Ownership of the instrument, electrical, analyser and metering corrective backlog.

  • Ensure accurate job plans exist for all PM activities within Maximo including all resources, services, materials, procedures, documents, tools etc.

  • Monitor work management process to ensure ongoing review and accuracy of all PM and job plan data.

  • Support execution efficiency KPI development to identify areas for work execution improvement

Job Requirements

  • Experience of operational, engineering and maintenance systems and processes.

  • Good working knowledge of Ineos maintenance standards, Integrity Management, Control of work and HSSE.

  • Understanding of Planning and Scheduling processes, concepts and tools.

  • Good communication and engagement skills.

Qualifications, knowledge and Skills

  • ONC/HNC in Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience

  • In depth knowledge of Maximo.

  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft base products and Planning tools (Primavera).

  • Positive attitude, self-confident, independent and ability to work on own initiative.
