We are looking for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our operations team to support our operated assets both on and offshore.

Responsibilities AND Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the design, configuration, testing, installation and commissioning of DCS / SCADA/ PLC and SIS systems

  • Provide support and troubleshooting for DCS / SCADA / PLC and SIS systems

  • Responsible for the production and modifications of control systems documentation pertaining to the life cycle of the systems

  • Deliver control system modifications in both technical compliance and quality

  • Oversee both onshore and offshore control systems operations and projects

  • Implement, maintain and monitor Operational Technology cyber security as appropriate


Skills & Knowledge Required


Degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline

  • Strong working knowledge and experience of:

    • Honeywell Experion PKS

    • Schneider Electric Triconex

    • Industrial Networks (Ethernet, Modbus, OPC)

    • Windows OS, security and networking

    • Operational Technology cyber security

  • Previous experience in a control systems engineering role within the oil & gas industry

  • Sufficient experience in configuration, implementation, support and modification including Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)


  • Results orientated, conscientious with a strong work ethic

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Solutions focused with the ability to implement improvements and efficiencies where appropriate
