Who are we?
We are Scotland’s only crude oil refinery.  We are based in Grangemouth in the Central Belt of Scotland, in the heart of a thriving manufacturing sector.

What are we looking for?

Have you been working as a senior HR Adviser or as an HR Business Partner and are looking for your next step or a change of environment?  We are looking for an HR Business Partner to work closely with our functional leads to support the delivery of strategic business objectives.

Our HR Business Partners are agents of change within the department and across the business.  They work across all aspects of the function’s remit and are responsible for the implementation and ongoing delivery of HR policies and initiatives.

As an HR Business Partner, you can expect to be responsible for the following:

  • Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders across the business.
  • Providing operational and strategic leadership to drive the delivery of the HR plan.
  • Helping to build strong talent pipelines.
  • Managing recruitment campaigns.
  • Supporting managers across the business on organisational structure and design.
  • Coaching and mentoring managers and employees across the site.
  • Analysing and interpreting large volumes of data to identify trends and metrics.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and support the delivery and implementation of processes.
  • Assess risk and identify gaps in current processes.
  • Support the design of key job roles.
  • Support the development of team members to improve the HR service.

Requirements for the Role

  • Ideally hold a university degree or equivalent, with a professional qualification from an accredited chartered institute such as the CIPD.
  • Experience of resolving complex casework problems.
  • Strong employee relations background.
  • Negotiations skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Management experience.
  • Critical thinker.
  • Problem solving ability.
