This opportunity is working within INOVYN’s vinyls technologies additives business.  We provide additives and solutions to the vinyls industry, developing and selling our additives to EDC/VCM & PVC technologies worldwide.

The role

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the development of our business.  The post holder will lead, develop and implement PVC additive project targets in line with business requirements.  The post involves project management and technical responsibility and is part of the INEOS graduate development scheme.


Principle accountabilities


  • Support SHE development and excellence

  • Lead development projects for new polymeric and non-polymeric additives for the PVC polymerisation production process

  • Lead, design and carry out the synthesis and characterisation of new PVC process additives for evaluation

  • Use and develop a variety of laboratory experimental techniques to improve the group's research capabilities.This expertise is to be used for the benefit of various user businesses and INOVYN customers

    The candidate

    You will need a Ph.D. in chemistry as a minimum.  Candidates should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a team, as well as show strong technical entrepreneurial spirit.

    You will have significant experience of practical laboratory work and be familiar with general laboratory safety - demonstrating a safe and conscientious approach to your experimental work.  This is a laboratory-based role.
