TAR Preparation Lead



FPS is a 100% INEOS-owned integrated oil and gas liquid transportation and processing system with a nominal capacity in excess of one million barrels per day serving the central area of the North Sea.

Oil and gas liquids from over 50 offshore fields and St Fergus flow through pipelines into FPS. FPS transports crude oil and gas liquids from offshore and onshore entry points, processes the liquids at Kinneil and redelivers to the customer Forties Blend crude oil at Hound Point and either Raw Gas or fractionated Gas Products at Grangemouth.

Job Purpose

Lead preparation activities for Turnaround workscopes to ensure that all work is ready to execute in line with agreed milestones.  Reporting to the TAR Manager the TAR Preparation Lead has no direct reports but will be expected to work closely with the wider TAR and Asset teams as well as Contract Partners.

Principle Accountabilities

Lead development of Statement of Requirements for TAR workscopes
Monitor & report on progress of Workpack development by wider TAR & contract teams
Ensure that all identified equipment and materials are purchased and delivered to site in line with TAR milestones
Participate in TAR Scope definition & challenge process
Input to planning, logic & resource requirements for all elements of integrated TAR plan
Add identified risks to the TAR risk register ensuring that mitigations are identified and actioned
Carry out self-verification audits to ensure compliance with Operational & Engineering standards
Within the TAR act as an Area Lead to deliver all execution activities within an assigned plant area

Special Feautures

Agency position for a period of 18 months to prepare & execute two turnarounds which are planned for 2020
During the turnarounds there will be a requirement to work extended hours to support the critical nature of the program.

Qualifications and Technical Experience

Hold an engineering degree and working towards Chartered Status
Previous Turnaround or Outage leadership experience in the refining, petrochemical, oil & gas or utilities industries
Experience of working within multi-disciplined engineering teams
Understanding of Management of Change processes
